December 20, 2024

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our families, donors, staff, and volunteers. This time of year highlights the power of generosity and our shared commitment to helping young people thrive. Your trust and support make everything we do possible and I am deeply appreciative and proud of the impact we create together.

As a parent myself, I know the importance of having a safe and nurturing space where kids can explore their potential, gain confidence, and build meaningful relationships with peers and other caring adults. I am proud to lead an organization that provides those same opportunities for all the youth we serve.

Our Clubs and programs are not just spaces for learning and growth; they are places where kids feel heard, valued, and understood. For many, the joy and traditions they experience with us during the holidays leave lasting impressions they carry throughout their lives.

Thank you for believing in the importance of the work that we do and for making the Club a priority in your life.

Wishing you and your loved ones a warm and joyful holiday season on behalf of everyone at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco!

Sincerely,

Rob Connolly

Community Resources

At Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Every day, our staff focus on creating safe spaces, meaningful relationships, and high-quality programs that help youth thrive. While we are not experts in areas such as immigration, food security, or healthcare, we understand that challenges such as this affect many families we serve. To help connect families with reliable sources of information and support, we’ve compiled a list of suggested community resources to investigate further.

Celebrating Elda, Our National Youth of the Year Finalist

This week, our Citywide Youth of the Year, Elda, competed in Boys & Girls Clubs of America's 2025 National Youth of the Year competition in Los Angeles. While she did not take home the national title, Elda’s recognition as one of six finalists nationwide is an incredible achievement and a testament to her determination, leadership, and the support of her community.
